In Equity, as in Vacation, Formation and Visit, I use urban street life to look at the border between public and private activity; the imprints of people on the natural and built landscape; the street defined by each walker's projection onto it. Here I also explore the idea of women in the workplace, the evolving idea of the working mother and the place of wage-earning business life within family life.
